One of our favorite parts of traveling around the world is immersing ourselves in the local cultures of the destination and food & beverages are always at the top of this list.  The challenge of trying to find those “hidden gems” that only the locals know about is one of our goals when traveling.  Here we will provide not only some of those “hidden gems” that we have found, but also some tips on how we try to find these.  Since we know that we probably “stick out like a sore thumb” as tourists, finding those places that have people with their dogs or just reading the paper are always a hint…..
